A little over a year ago, I described one of the best decisions I ever made with an overall positive message of success and vigilance. The keen observer may have noticed that roughly 6 months later I transitioned out of the very role about which I was raving. At the time, I described the decision to join Under Armour as the best professional choice I ever made. I explained everything I was doing to make this transition work and all of the amazing talented people I was working with. And I need to tell you that it all worked out perfectly and was worthwhile. My experience at Under Armour led me to the best possible outcome. The part you may not understand is that the outcome included a realization that I eventually made: It wasn’t going to work out for me there in the long-term.
